WRDSB Community Use of Schools Announcement
The Waterloo Reagion District School Board has relesed the following statement about the community use of school facilities.
"The Board will be focused on opening and supporting our day time school operations in the Fall. As such, schools will remain closed to community use until at least November 2020. Staff will continue to evaluate the feasibility of opening our schools to community use and provide updates on our website."

WCDSB information on the availabilty of Rental Permits for their Commmunity Use of Schools
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board has responded to the FAQ regarding the Community USe of Schools.
" Rental permits will not be available until January 2021 at the earliest. public health considerations will determine when permits may safely resume"
How is the KWYBA affected?
A. As our House League Program is completely dependent upon the availability of school facilities to support our basketball programs, we have had to postpone our basketball season until further notice.

Due to the ongoing challenge of COVID-19, registration for the 2020-2021, House League and Rep basketball seasons, is postponed
The start of the season is dependent upon receiving the following:
The Kitchener Wateroo Youth Basketball Association will also be adopting a phased approach to reopening, and program registration.
Information will be provided on this page as to timing and status of events
For now, our House League Program registration is postponed until further notice
